We really need a moderator that's around during European day times. The pedos know there's no mods on during these times so they use these times to run rampant in the chat.

everything that the ToU outlines as bannable is brought up at least once during the downtime with no moderation/administration. underagers, pedophiles, pedobaits, child porn and incest requests run more rampant without an overlooking moderator to stop them. once they start up, they seem to stick around until a mod or admin log in, and then they vanish, only to return the following downtime under the same or different handle.
we need (a) moderator(s) outside of the US time zones, so that all bases can be covered, and that OFC can stay welcoming and friendly, without the overshadow of the possibility of shutdown.

I agree. theres a lot of violation against the tou and those guests know fairly well when theres no mod around due the different timezones so they can show up during this timeframe and dont have to be afraid to be caught, the users of ofc are powerless during this time, the only thing left is to block those people - just for them to show up under a different name, so thats not really a solution in this matter in my opinion. also, theyre kinda able to find mind-like people and i dont believe that this is something good either. i think itd be benefiting to have at least one mod around during the european time

back again on this post, seeing as nothing has been done.
we need a rule instated that requires at least one Moderator and/or Administrator to be on at all times, because this shit with the pedophiles and the underagers/pedobaits running rampant again is going to be cause of site shutdown. I'm projecting here, but I doubt OFC is going to last past mid-January at this point.
the Moderators are barely on in the mornings any more, from what I've gathered since my haitus. Administration is absent. who's supposed to keep the room in order without someone to keep an eye on it? Members can't do anything except block and report, but that doesn't do anything. the perpetrators just go around that with a new account to keep doing what they're doing. and the ten-report system? that's bs. update that, seriously.
end all, be all, OFC is burning. what are we supposed to do except watch it burn whilst tending to these fires with nothing but water? we can't do anything about the offenders when we have this several hour long window where they can come in and spew their filth. get a Moderator that can be on during these times, outside of the US, because it's clear none of y'all are night owls.

I totally agree with the above contributors - there are long periods of time when this room is effectively unmoderated. It becomes a free for all for pedos, e-whores, bots and non-English speakers amongst others. I'm certain several sinister elements actually watch out for this window, as problems mushroom as soon as it begins, which I refuse to believe is entirely coincidental. Isn't this absence of moderators in contravention of the terms of service for chat sites?
