I've recently bought a small boat to take my time up in retirement but need to name her before she's launched (has had sea trials so in the eater) so any suggestions, probably will not be used but gotta be worth the laugh.

Vixen (Vixxxen ?)
Summer Breeze for a sailboat ..
Spray (Mr. Slocum's vessel)
Though Eos is a lot shorter if you are on the VHF having to spell the name using the phonetic alphabet, lol

Forgot about this thread, some great, some good some strange suggestions so thank you all .
On the short list was, far horizon, ocean spirit, but being decided on
- - - - ˈprinsəs (daughters hame and Princess in hebrew)
Like I'm saying it out load lol.

What sort of a boat is it, anyway?
I always preferred blow boats (sailboats) but have ended up with some stink boats (power boats) and kayaks to suit the waters i am more commonly on these days

I also happened across "An Faoilean" and thought it was interesting
I gather that translates to Seagull
also Teagan .. (beautiful girl, inside and out)

I tried to find the original name of Thomas Day's 1901 design Seabird yawl, but could not find it
(He was the founding editor of "The Rudder magazine, from 1890 to 1916)
