Whoever decided they needed the extra short-term cash and started blocking people using Adblock from using the site and chat, I hope it's worth it, because I really don't think it will be.
You will only drive off your members who would otherwise stick around, while simultaneously discouraging new members from joining. Before long the guests that you do have, that aren't intelligent enough to know what an adblocker even is, and are the ones who DO click your ads, will wither away until nothing is left.
You guys are aware you have competition right? Sites with 10x the active members that don't need to resort to blocking Adblockers. Perhaps try actually doing something to help this one grow.
