Profile messages privacy

Hello, I set my privacy prefences to follow only and my notes still are made public. There's times I'd like to make my messages private. How do I do that?

Profile messages can be seen by the public no matter what setting you have it on. Putting them on follow only means that only those you follow can comment on your profile. If you want to send private messages, use the inbox feature.
