With 1 in 6 infertility today,
are we too willing to rely on freezing eggs, sperm and embryos?
There are some lifeforms on earth that can survive freezing in greenland and antarctica.
But why do we assume freezing reproductive cells is just fine?
Just because they are alive and survive the freezing process is not enough!
That is going to be a baby someday, seriously!
And liquid nitrogen is way past the freezing point of water!
I have problems with that entire system to be fair:
1. Paying to freeze "average sperm" from some young man in college?
Why not just collect sperm from "medically perfect" & "physically perfect" single men first and foremost?
2. Why not try natural methods?
3. Naturally harvested sperm from "apex sperm donors"?
My proposal is this:
"Living Sperm Banks" = Actual women who harvest sperm from apex sperm donors naturally.
Normal vaginal sexual activity to "maximize" the sperm's viability.
There is proof jerking off into a cup doesn't produce very aggressive sperm samples.
Sperm bank Moms = Living sperm banks that are also mothers themselves.
Women could be paid to do this for a living!
A nurse can come to her home or harvesting station to collect the semen.
Or even a dungeon in town could literally do this all week long.
The woman harvesting it get paid (by volume)
The sperm donors get paid (by volume).
Now of course the woman on the receiving end could have several sperm donors for that day's session.
Most likely the same race so these samples are of a similar stock.
She ONLY collects semen from APEX sperm donors for her entire day.
These men are more physcially fit, and healthy.. worth collecting samples from!
Instead of the current "ass backwards" system of acting like regular sperm is even WORTH freezing.
Collect apex donor sperm, naturally!
Couples won't mind getting it from a full all out sex act!
Think of the sheer savings in costs to get naturally harvested semen from apex sperm donors
over freezing whatever crap some college stoner drops off?
The woman who collects it can RATE the men herself as well!
Instead of some profile posted and supposedly accurate from a sperm bank.
Why not get it from natural collections...
NOT frozen! (Never frozen)
You just have people in a city having sex all week long, collecting this sperm and you just
have the mother-to-be go to the lab and see "what's fresh for today"?
Fuck freezing and those risks.
Plus jamming a needle into an egg and injecting sperm into it.
that's just lazy science!
This is going to be a baby someday!
I mean just let the sperm run the gauntlet and try to find the egg!
The freezing system is too damaging, and unnatural.
Try to imagine how many men who DO take care of their bodies will GLADLY ejaculate into the womb
of a woman who is a living sperm bank/sperm bank mom?
Adding some excitement, and natural sexual activity and stimulation to those swimmers!!!
Plus what about the vaginal fluids, and orgasms stimulating the sperm iteself?
If the Apex sperm donor is really high end like the top 3-5% of the single men out there...
why not spend the money on the people donating, instead of lab freezing.
It's just offensive to me $25,000 to $75,000 trying to create an impossible baby.
A baby that might have unforseen health problems.
Or pay for the high end single males to make a REAL contribution!
It's not like women would mind being living sperm banks/sperm bank moms
collecting semen naturally from very attractive and fit sperm donors?
Oh and they get paid for it!
Why is this, not already a thing?
our ancestors did this.
Queens and other women of nobility would get seeded by men to prevent civil wars!
Just saying, this is the more logical, less expensive and possibly much more effective
method to get results!

Make some super healthy babies, with all the pollution today, we need that!
