Wait till you hear about TVs with just 2 channels, that you had to get up put of your seat to switch between by pressing buttons on the set itself. I was the de facto remote for my parents until my sister was old enough to take over lol
I've heard the horror stories
It was a much less complicated time. And it was the most technologically advanced time we had seen yet. However, we also weren't able to have contact with amazing people from around the world who could become such important family members to us. So yeah, I think things are better now too.
