Missing me?.

Hi everyone.

Just thought I'd share a little information as to why I have been missing for the last week.

Monday and Tuesday my mum was experiencing random breathing problems. These problems would last about 5-10 minutes, and they would be at random times of the day. Dispite being told by multiple people to go to the Dr's she refused. She can be quite stubborn when she wants to be.

On Wednesday morning her breathing was really bad and was rushed to our local hospital. There it was discovered that she had, or was having a heart attack. She was stabilised and was sent to a ward to be seen by another Dr. By early afternoon her condition worsened and was rushed by ambulance to the Bristol Royal Infirmary. The BRI has a specialist cardiac centre within the hospital and is the largest in the south west of England.

She has had multiple tests and scans including MRI, but the Dr's are a little confused as to what is happening to her. So they are doing more tests and keeping her in until they can find out what is wrong and then what treatment to give her.

So, that is why I have been missing this week. I will be back, I just don't know when. I may not be as active to begin with. But hope to be as active in the future as I was in the past.

Kirstie,

You have been missed. I am definitely praying for your mother and for you. Take care of yourself as you take care of her.

So damn scary, but you'll be there to help her out. We'll be here for you.

Adam knows what it's like, his dad died from a severe heart attack 6 weeks before we got married. He was there when it happened and tried to save him, but to no avail.

Sorry to hear of these health troubles your Mom has been having. I know how scary and uncertain it can be. We miss you, but family comes first always. I'm sure we'll be here when you come back. Prayers for quick relief and treatment/healing for your Mom and peace for you and the rest of the family.
