Just a trail of reminiscing about things you knew and loved when you were younger. Maybe treasured memories of old friends or family members, something you enjoyed as a child but no longer exists...favourite TV shows or toys...anything at all from the past that brings a smile or a laugh or even a tear.
 
Summer car trips with my family. Listening to a John Denver cassette on repeat with songs like Take Me Home Country Roads, Annie's Song and Grandma's Feather Bed. My father getting increasingly annoyed with our antics in the back seat until he would either rev the engine much more, angrily shout at us to shut the hell up or threaten to leave us on the side of the road. And once he actually did! My and my sister stood there for maybe 3 minutes until he and mum came back and picked us up in silence lol

I am so sorry that is your experience. I haven't really ever had a good impression of America, but i do know some people who could relate to this so well.
 
I had fun as a kid. Trips to Florida. I know this will be shocking.. but time spent with my grandmother. I love that woman.

Middle school.. HS.. all kinda sucked. My best memories are some since 2020. 2025 are some of the worst lol.

Honestly sweet Lady G you are helping me to make beautiful memories. I so appreciate your friendship!

Not shocking at all about your grandmother hun, they are some of the world's most special people.
And bad memories, while unpleasant or sad are sometimes a reminder of how good life now is.
You're going to be so many people's happy memories in years to come, you amazing girl x
 
I dunno if this is far enough back to be nostalgic.. but I remember the first time @DreamEater and I really talked over on that toxic site, in 2020 or 2021. He was having a rough time and I was able to listen. He's a kindred sprit, a tender loving dude and a fabulous friend

@DreamEater any friend of @FallenAngel-Lez is a friend of mine, so yiu can now count a middle aged irish girl with a touch of silliness and sauciness to your list of acquaintances! She was such a support to me mot too long ago during a tough time, like she undoubtedly was for you back then. We've both been touched by an angel ❤️
