IMG_1774.jpegIMG_1003.jpegMoss, lichen, and fungi have always fascinated me!! The orange fungi in the bottom pic is known as “chicken of the woods” because…you guessed it! It actually tastes like chicken. I’ve had it several times while backpacking. Throw it into a pan with olive oil some wild garlic…delicious!

It’s amazing to me just how much beauty can be found in such a seemingly desolate environment. A few pics from Saguaro National Park, Arizona.
