Shower Thoughts

So this will seem bizarre but honest to god I thought about this in the shower yesterday. Who here remembers Sesame Street? The little creatures that lived in Burt and Ernie’s flower pot…what were they called??
Twiddlebugs

I guess. It just seems like being thoughtless hurts the one person in the world you don't want to ever hurt.

Hypothetically, of course lol
Feelings are a way our subconscious uses to let us know things about ourselves so we can respond accordingly in all situations. Taking our feelings into account makes us authentic to ourselves, and it can save us from a lot of unnecessary pain.
If my words cause you to feel pain, it means that you can free yourself from something that needs to change or move from your system. How can I be the one to blame for something that was already in your system? They are your feelings, your responsibility, you are the master of yourself, you deal with it. If we don't get past the point of pointing fingers, we make ourselves into victims - giving our power away. Pain is about growth by reducing vulnerability. And so our basic reaction should be: thank you for showing me what needs to be healed. The big difference with people who say hurtful things on purpose is that you stop wasting your time on them; but you still deal with your pain.
