You're not alone in that! I have a backing track going on in my brain pretty much constantly. Half the time I don't know what the song is or where I've heard it...
Reminds me of the episode from the big bang theory where Sheldon has this song going around his head. Takes him a few days to figure it out, a beach boys song with a connection to his girlfriend. Even though neither are old enough to have listened to the beach boys songs when they were originally released.
