Nostalgia

There is a song that reminds me of a happier time in my past. It was when I owned the home from the previous pictures and where my son and I lived together when he was a 3-12 y/o (he's almost 24 now). There was a phase that he had found out about the reactions from the girls at school to his appearance. The first time he found out about that, his trousers were ripped because he tried to run away from a herd of girls all trying to make him their catch. Unfortunately 'Romeo' tripped and his pants ripped. Of course he was embarrassed. He tried to make up for it by asking me to take him to school in our new car, a black BMW Z3 convertible. It was only a 5 minute drive, he put his tiny arm on the door and had to lean over :D. His hair was styled the way he liked it, as a cock's comb :D:D, sunglasses on of course, and the only song he wanted to be played was this song:

And oh yeah, the volume had to be turned up to its absolute maximum. At 8:15 in the morning, through our village.

Wow! Maybe you could use one on one of your future travels :)
Haha…perhaps I could!!
Although, nature has a way of letting us know when things are going to change.
Do you recall the old saying…”red sky at night, a sailors delight. Red sky in the morning sailor take warning. “
Or did you know that the leaves on maple and linden trees-will naturally turn over when a storm is approaching?

No, I do not because we don't have that saying here! We have Morning brings gold to the mouth, which could be seen in your pics.

I did not know about maple and linden trees, but I read an article in a newspaper dated 06-19-1893 that if lapsana communis does not close its flowers at night, it will rain. It caused me to check for other plants in my garden that could tell me about the coming weather. Actually a lot of species do.

I love that about the nipplewort…I did not know that!! The answers to everything can be found all around us in the natural world if only we would let go, pay attention and just listen to what Mother Nature is saying.
