A couple of photos to kick things off. Taken during a week long backpacking trip in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California. View of Lake Tahoe and a really cool Jeffery pine (Pinus Jeffrey). Look how the top broke out and the tree compensated by putting on new vertical growth from a lower scaffold branch!!
