Thank you so much. I did walk around a bit but once i found the spot I was able to get the composition I wanted. And I was really using the leading lines of the near bridge to draw the eye across. This photo tells the story of a bridge built by people who didn't just construct a bridge out of steel, concrete, and masonry, but also sought to elevate it to an art form. In my opinion, they succeeded. If you hadn't bothered to go to the point where the photo was taken, this photo would have been much less interesting. A+ for the composition, because you perfectly captured the interplay of lines and placed everything in a subdued light, making the bridge even more impressive.
Great capture of the moon. It's not often you can get he dark edges while showing off the bright side.
Again loving your photo that again tells a story, very well done! The vignette takes away from the already beautifully aged composition, but on the other hand it brings some softness to the image. This is a picture I took on a field trip during a photography class at the community college. I call it "Two Barns and a Truck". We visited this site and looked around. As the class was leaving, I turned around and took this when no one was there. When I got it into the computer, I added a bit of saturation and, if I remember correctly, reduced the exposure slightly and added what's called Structure, which enhances details. Then added a slight dark vignette to the edges. I do think I would have adjusted the composition a little to the right but for a quick shot I think it worked.

Where I live there are tons of lighthouses. This one is in the town south of me where is lived for many years. It's know as the Asylum Point lighthouse because it's near a facility. I would go here a lot in the early mornings since the sun was to the left as you look at the photo and created beautiful colors in the sky over the lake.

That's a very fun photo. I like how it shows the happiness of the day. Very nice composition. My eyes are drawn to the sports car that I believe the groom is in so it's showing who the focus is on.I was asked to snap some wedding pictures at my brother's wedding. This is one of my favorites, because it makes me think of the Abbey Road cover although I like this photo better. I took it from a car, luckily we had to stop. The waving people were actually guests to the wedding, going towards the place where the reception was held; we did not plan the encounter. This year was their 10th wedding anniversary.
